Same NYR lineup gets to put the team back on track in Florida
Why mess with something that isn’t broken? The same 18 skaters and 2 goalies will take to the ice against the Panthers and make amends for a terrible loss on Thursday in Tampa. It seems silly to call 1 loss in the last 10 games terrible, but it was only because of how the game ended.
The Rangers were even on the scoreboard and had a PP with under 2 minutes to play. At the very least they looked to have 1 point in the bag. Then a tough-to-handle pass by Derek Stepan, a momentary freeze by Ryan McDonagh and a shocking shorthanded goal against Henrik Lundqvist snapped a 9 game winning streak.
Good News? The Blueshirts are pretty ticked off about it and that won’t bode well for the Florida Panthers.

“We won nine, we lost one, but that loss isn’t sitting well with anyone in the room. It’s weighing on us. I like that.”- Rick Nash
“I don’t expect the guys to be happy about the result, but I do think we played a real good game and, hopefully, we’ll put that on the ice.” – Alain Vigneault
