Struggling Canucks appear ready to be rocked by the Rangers

The Rangers are flying!

55 goals in 13 games, which is 8 more than the Chicago Blackhawks. Did you hear that? THE. CHICAGO. BLACKHAWKS. Tonight they face the Vancouver Canucks who have lost 9 in a row and have allowed 38 goals in 13 games.

Put that together and it should add up to an absolute Rangers Romp!

You know what’s funnier? The way the Vancouver media is covering the lead up to the game. After last night’s loss to the Islanders in Brooklyn, here’s what Harrison Mooney wrote.

“The loss pushes the Canucks’ losing streak to nine, one shy of the franchise record as they head to Broadway for a date with the high-flying, division-leading New York Rangers, who just happen to be coached by Vancouver’s former bench boss, Alain Vigneault. That’s embarrassing. It’s like running into your ex and she’s hanging out with celebrities, and you’re alone, and your face is covered in chimney soot and Sriracha mayo, and also your leg is caught in a bear trap and you’re just sitting there, filthy and mewling.” – Vancouver Sun

Will it all play out as expected? I think so and another game of 5 goals or more seems Vesey enough (wink, wink). Oddly enough, it looks like Jakob Markstrom will start tonight instead of Ryan Miller. Why do I say that? Because I posted this on Twitter after the scored 5 on the Jets on Sunday.
