Tonight may be Mats Zuccarello’s last game with the Rangers

Mats Zuccarello was on the ice for practice this morning and is highly likely to play tonight against Minnesota. Head coach, David Quinn has every intention on dressing Zucc, Hayes and McQuaid for the game at the Garden until he’s told not too.
Zuccarello’s Last Game as a Ranger?
The Blueshirts have 3 games, including tonight at the Garden before the Trade Deadline on Monday. All signs point to Mats Zuccarello being moved before then so it is very possible he along with others may be scratched soon to avoid injury.
Lias Andersson has been recalled from Hartford and Brett Howden has resumed skating as well. These are additional signs that Jeff Gorton is going to start making some moves. So tonight at the Garden may be the very last time for Rangers fans to say goodbye to Zucc.
Thank You Zucc
To the New York Rangers fans in attendance tonight, this is a call for you to be loud. To cheer every time he touches the ice and to scream “THANK YOU ZUCC!” And to fans on social media, let’s use the hashtag #ThankYouZucc and get it trending.
Mats Zuccarello is not just another hockey player that has pulled a Rangers jersey over his head. Zuccarello is a fan favorite who has won multiple Steven McDonald Extra Effort Awards. He deserves to feel the love tonight. Let’s show him what he has meant to us and the Rangers franchise.
