The trades have started and the returns don’t bode well for the Rangers
Several trades have been made since late yesterday and if we are to take away anything from them it is this:
THE RETURNS ARE RIDICULOUS!
Official from LA: Bishop and 5th-rd pick in 2017 for Budaj, Erik Cernak, a 7th-rd pick in 2017 and a conditional 2017 pick.
— Bob McKenzie (@TSNBobMcKenzie) February 26, 2017
This one was bit shocking for sure…but there is concern in LA with Jonathan Quick coming off injury and the intense workload down the stretch.
It’s a 2017 first-round pick going from Minny to AZ for Hanzal, 2018 2nd and the conditional pick is 2019.

If Hanzal is going to get this return….what will Shattenkirk command?
The Leafs announced they have acquired F Brian Boyle from Tampa in exchange for F Byron Froese and a 2nd round draft pick in 2017. #tmltalk

And if that wasn’t shocking enough…who knew Brian Boyle could fetch so much.
TRADE: The #Sens have acquired forward Alex Burrows from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Jonathan Dahlen.

Really? For Alex Burrows???
Another trade: Montreal acquires D Jordie Benn from Dallas for D Greg Pateryn and a 2017 4th RD pick

OH BOY!
Good Luck Gorton!
