Who should be the next New York Rangers coach?

The New York Rangers are in the market for a new head coach. As you can imagine there are very strong opinions for and against many of the candidates in the running. Breaking down the top New York Rangers coaching candidates
Gerard Gallant: Career Coaching Record of 270-216-4-51 .550% and Playoffs: 18-15
The 57 year-old Gallant is on many NHL team’s short list of candidates. He had three stop in the NHL with Columbus, Florida, and Vegas. He was a smashing success for the expansion Golden Knights taking them to the Stanley Cup Finals in their first season.
John Tortorella: Career Coaching Record of 673-541-37-132 .548% and Playoffs: 56-64 (1 Stanley Cup)

The 62 year-old Torts has been coaching a lot longer and is 12th all-time on the NHL’s win list. His best record for a team came when he coached the Rangers from 2008 to 2012. He amassed a record of 171-118-1-29 for a .583 winning percentage. However, in the postseason he was 19-25 and was fired after a mutiny for grinding his players to the bone.
Rick Tocchet: Career Coaching Record of 178-200-60 .475% and Playoffs: 4-5
The 57 year-old former NHL power forward took the reins as head coach back in 2017. Tocchet amassed a 125-131-34 record with the Coyotes during his tenure. He is widely considered an up and coming coach who knows how to relate to his players. Many in NHL circles view his record as a feat for getting more with less than any other coach.
