Filip Chytil was a pleasant surprise for the New York Rangers at practice today. He rotated in and out, so it is doubtful that he’s ready to play tomorrow at MSG.

Filip Chytil back at practice

Chytil was injured in Pittsburgh after a collision with Evan Rodrigues. Chytil was shown on the Rangers bench in pain with the training staff working on what appeared to be his left wrist. It looks like he need 5 weeks to heal.

Today, Chytil was in a regular practice jersey. The Blueshirts even posted a brief video of him to brighten everyone’s mood.

David Quinn noted that Chytil is day-to-day, and would like to see him practice a little more.

Alexandar Georgiev has been given the nod as the starter against Boston tomorrow.
