Mumps-less Derick Brassard was back at practice yesterday and should replace now mumps infected Lee Stempniak. The Blueshirts are trying to ride a 4 game winning streak into a home and home series with the Hurricanes.

15-14 and looking to add some more to the win column.
With the Rangers heating up and the Carolina Hurricanes sitting dead last in the Metro, this should be a cakewalk. However, no lazy efforts better show up tonight in order to avoid a letdown.
Derick Brassard’s return will be welcome, but it may take him a bit to get his strength and timing back up. Looking for another big night from none other than Rick Nash.
