Islanders and Rangers set for Metro clash tonight (NYI at NYR 7pm)
In what is likely the most anticipated regular season matchup in the battle for NY since March 5th, 1994. The Islanders look to keep the streaking Rangers behind them in the standings.
GAME 40: NY Islanders at NY Rangers, Madison Square Garden, NY 7pm
For those of you trying to recall March 5th 1994, that was the Rangers 1st win at the Nassau Coliseum in a long while. It was important because it broke the hex and would come into play when the Rangers swept the Isles in the 1st round of the 1994 Cup run.
