Rangers look to Come in and Weather the Storm versus Hurricanes
Rangers are heading in looking for answers as the team heads into Carolina facing a Hurricanes team 6 points behind them as a quick two games in 5 nights between the two get underway.
The Return of the Hobbit?
With the smallest of the small on the Rangers team standing tall at 5’7″ (Martin St. Louis stands tall at 5’8″), the lack of offense has been telling for this team. The creativity on offense just isn’t the same. The third line of Derick Brassard and Benoit Pouilot have been struggling trying to find consistency while he’s been out.
With the probable return of the Hobbit, the exit of Derek Dorsett in the lineup is more than likely. Since his return to the lineup, Derek Dorsett has been more of a nuisance. Not really looking game ready, and making mistakes that he shouldn’t have made. Mats, we’re glad to have you back in!
The Staal’s are Brothers
Ah, Joe and Sam’s favorite games of the year, where they remind everyone that Marc, Jordan, and Eric are all related because they’re brothers. Always a good, light hearted game (unless you’re Eric in 2010 concussing Marc). But, with Joe and Sam they’ll remind you, because they are eager to – that the Staal’s — they’re brothers.
FullTilt Forecast
Well, the Rangers are looking to weather the storm, and what better of a storm to weather but Hurricanes! The Hobbit will return and he shall score for the Rangers as well. That’s as far as I’ll go with scorers predictions. As for the score, the Rangers will win 3-1.
