Not even #Snowpocalypse2015 can stop this heated rivalry (NYR at NYI 7pm)
The Rangers changed their practice schedule on Monday to skate at the Nassau Coliseum in advance of the storm. As of right now, all signs are pointing to this game going off as scheduled.
Nassau County Executive, Ed Mangano was on NEWS12 LI this morning saying he will be at the game as mass transit should be fully operational by Noon today.
Both teams are being reported to be going ahead with their normal routines. The NY Islanders twitter account has also tweeted out their game-day preview. So while we all battle to stay warm tonight, the Rangers and Isles will heat up the ice in an all out war.
This will be the third meeting of the season for these two rivals and the first at Nassau Coliseum. The Isles took the first 2 at the Garden by an aggregate score of 9-3! Look for the Rangers and MVP hopeful, Rick Nash to get a sliver of revenge tonight.
