The Rangers are already without Chris Kreider due to a hand injury and now their depth may be tested even earlier than expected.
Chris Kreider now out on the ice taking a twirl on his own. Still big black brace on left hand but wearing two gloves.

Recently recalled JT Miller took Brassard’s spot between Zuccarello and Pouliot for the remainder of practice. There is no word as to what the type of injury it is, but it looked like back spasms. Hopefully a good massage and some rest will have him ready for tomorrow. Maybe the 2nd day off was too much rest there coach? Vigneault did give us some good news when practice was over. When asked about Brassard, he believed he would be ready come tomorrow.

After practice, AV held his usual presser and is gearing up for the big show. Rangers fans can salivate as he stated how bad the boys want to win. Captain Obvious moment aside, it’s still good to hear.
