Rangers get opportunity to be better against Flyers (PHI v NYR 8 pm)
It’s actually “RIVALRY NIGHT” on NBC as two legit rivals face off at the Garden. NY will be looking to redeem themselves after a collective stinker, while the Flyers also look to get on track.

RANGERS TO WATCH
1. Cam Talbot – The Rangers need him to be better and tonight is a great opportunity for Talbot to find his game from last year. He’s a big goaltender who is better when he’s doing less. It’s all about positioning and rebound control for Cam.
2. Rick Nash – NY needs a hero, and I can’t think of anyone better than Rick Nash to lead the way.
3. Dan Boyle – His skating legs appear to be stronger and his decision making on the PP are coming quicker. I think tonight is the night that Dan Boyle finally endears himself a bit to the Garden Faithful.
EYE ON THE ENEMY
1. Wayne Simmonds – The Flyers tough guy has 7 goals and 12 points in 17 games, decent numbers but nothing Earth shattering. Throw it out the window as he loves to play against the Rangers. He will be one to watch.
2. Jakub Voracek – What a season this guy is having with 26 points in 17 games. With Claude Giroux out and Rangers having last change at home, I expect lots of Dom Moore against him.
3. Michael Del Zotto – All the ice-off controversy aside with porn star Lisa Ann, MDZ is having a nice run here with the Flyers. 8 points in 16 games is not too bad.
FULLTILT FORECAST
Losing streak! 8-10 on the predictions and fading fast.
The Flyers have lost their last 2 games and are without Claude Giroux. New York is at home and full of piss & vinegar. This is a game that the Rangers MUST win.
Time to right the ship in style.
