The Rangers continue to impress despite so many crying about how flawed their bottom six is and how they can’t win faceoffs. Henrik Lundqvist was on the ice yesterday which bodes well going forwards, but Cam Talbot has held the fort in his place.

The Rangers and Canucks meet for the second and final time this season, with the Blueshirts having skated out of Vancouver back on December 13th with a convincing 5-1 victory. In that contest Mats Zuccarello scored twice and Rick Nash and Derick Brassard each added a pair of assists. Four different Rangers scored goals that night, and 12 different Rangers recorded at least one point. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 29 of 30 shots, losing his shutout bid 4:20 into the third period. Alain Vigneault has not lost to his former club since becoming head coach of the Rangers. Along with the win on December 13th this season, AV guided New York to 5-2 and 3-1 victories over the Canucks last season.
