Rangers look for historic win against Islanders in last game at Coliseum (NYR at NYR 7PM)
The last ever game between the Rangers and Islanders is set to be played tonight at the Nassau Coliseum. It will be a fitting ending to the old barn in Uniondale as both teams are extremely competitive and fighting for the top spot in the Metro Division.

Via Blueshirts United: Tonight’s game is the fifth and final meeting between the Rangers and Islanders this season, and the third meeting between the two teams at Nassau Coliseum. The Rangers have posted a 1-3-0 record (0-2-0 at home, 1-1-0 on the road) against the Islanders, following a 6-5 win on Feb. 16 at Nassau Coliseum. Chris Kreider, Martin St. Louis, and Derek Stepan have all tallied three points (one goal, two assists) in the season series, while Ryan McDonagh and Rick Nash are tied for the team lead with two goals against the Islanders. Derick Brassard and Kevin Klein have each recorded two points (one goal, one assist) in the season series.
