Rangers look to start 2015 the right way against Buffalo (BUF at NYR 7pm)
The Rangers will entertain the Buffalo Sabres to kick off 2015. “Our expectations are to get into the playoffs,” Alain Vigneault said at yesterday’s post practice scrum. He continued to explain that even though they’ve been winning so is everybody else. “We haven’t gained any ground really. We’ve just got to keep playing well and keep getting points.”

Per Vigneault, the Rangers' organization has yet to make a decision on whether to keep Duclair in NHL or return him to juniors after WJC.

FULLTILT FORECAST
Forecast record 20-15.
Whether it’s Lundqvist or Talbot, either goalie should be able beat the reeling Sabres. The Rangers scored 5 goals against the Panthers to close out 2014, I’m looking for more offense to kick off 2015.
Look for a Nash goal fest tonight and lots of “Hey, Hey, Hey Hey Hey!” It’s going to be a Garden Party so have fun.
