Rangers Roundup: A look inside the bubble, full practice schedule this week, and more

The Rangers are in Toronto and ready to roll in their qualifying match up against the Carolina Hurricanes. But before the action starts on Saturday, August 1 they have a full week of practice and an exhibition tilt against the Islanders on Wednesday. Full schedule at the end of this article.

Rangers provide a look inside the NHL bubble

So are you wondering how a hotel looks when an entire league takes it over? Are you intrigued by how a “made for TV” arena will look like? Well here’s an inside look.

The Rangers Instagram posted a few more photos for you to check out as well but here is a brief video glimpse.

The NHL also put out a photo of each arena that will be hosting playoff games. You can see the layout of the huge screens that will fill the stands in both in Edmonton and Toronto. The goal according to the league was to not show the empty seats.

The NYR PR Dept released the practice schedule for next week. All practice and Zoom times are subject to change.

Monday, July 27

  • Practice beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Ford Performance Centre
  • Zoom Availability to follow at approximately 1:15 p.m.

Tuesday, July 28

  • Practice beginning at 10:30 at Ford Performance Centre
  • Zoom Availability to follow at approximately 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 29

  • No practice
  • Rangers vs. Islanders – exhibition game at 8:00 p.m.

Thursday, July 30

  • Team is OFF – no media availability

Friday, July 31

  • Practice beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Ford Performance Centre
  • Zoom Availability to follow at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 1
