Good morning. The Rangers face-off against New Jersey tonight at the Garden, here are your morning news and notes.
Today’s Playoff Action
The Rangers need to win just to keep pace, but could find themselves in a playoff spot at the end of the day. Let’s start with the latest standings.
Here’s tonight’s action with odds from MoneyPuck.com. The game with the most implications for getting into a spot is at 1PM today with the Canes needing to beat the Islanders to set the stage for the Rangers to claim the last wild card spot.
Scratching Lundqvist
Last night, I posed the question and posted a poll to get the fans perspective. The poll is still going, but with almost 1400 votes in, 54% of fans want the Rangers to scratch Lundqvist and go with Shesterkin and Georgiev the rest of the way.
