The New York Rangers have taken the ice for warmups for Game 6 in Tampa. As head coach Gerard Gallant teased on Friday, he’s made lineup changes.

“I said yesterday we would consider [lineup changes],” Gallant smirked during his pregame presser. “We’ll see what happens tonight.”

Ryan Reaves, who has played in every Rangers playoff game up until Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final remains scratched.

Based on line rushes, it first looked like Ryan Strome would miss the game leaving warmups early. Once he returned it became obvious that Kaapo Kakko would be the scratch.

Key lineup changes:

  • Alexis Lafrenière up to the first line
  • Chris Kreider and Barclay Goodrow centered by Filip Chytil
  • Dryden Hunt on the fourth line

One bit of Lightning housekeeping, no Brayden Point.
