NHL alters New York Rangers schedule amid Covid-19 postponements
The National Hockey League announced on Saturday morning that changes have been made to the New York Rangers’ 2020-21 schedule.
The changes begin tonight as the Rangers were to have a game in New Jersey against the Devils. That game was scheduled earlier last week when the NHL announced that 17 Devils players were on the NHL Covid protocol list.
New York Rangers schedule changes
- The Rangers’ game originally scheduled for Feb. 6 against the New Jersey Devils at New Jersey is now scheduled for Mar. 4 at 7:00 p.m.
- The Rangers’ game originally scheduled for Mar. 4 against the New Jersey Devils at MSG is now scheduled forFeb. 16 at 7:00 p.m.
- The Rangers’ game originally scheduled for Feb. 16 against the Philadelphia Flyers at MSG is now scheduled forFeb. 14 at 6:00 p.m.
- The Rangers’ game originally scheduled for Mar. 5 against the New Jersey Devils at New Jersey is now scheduled for Mar. 6 at 1:00 p.m.

Todays announcement resulted in 27 schedule changes as the NHL battles an influx of COVID related issues.
The Rangers next game is scheduled for Monday night against the New York Islanders at MSG.
