Report: John Tortorella not expected back with Blue Jackets next season
The Columbus Blue Jackets will be looking for a new head coach next year. According to Darren Dreger, current bench boss John Tortorella is not expected back. The longtime coach of the Jackets will have his contract expire at the conclusion of the season and be looking for a new locker room.
NHL tentative start date and more news from today
There’s a tentative date set for next season, which is great news for hockey fans. October 12th is when the NHL is planning on starting the 2021-22 season. This means that we should be seeing a return to normal scheduling since this is about a week off from the usual early October start dates.
