The New York Rangers will offer up a bold look when they play the New York Islanders outdoors at the 2024 Stadium Series at MetLife Stadium on Feb. 18.

The Rangers revealed the jerseys on social media Friday and they stray far from their traditional Blueshirt for the Stadium Series. The sweaters feature a large, bold NYR across the front in red, outlined in blue on a white background. The numbers on the sleeve are also very large and easy to read, with the same red outlined in blue.

Typically, third jerseys draw a mixed reaction from passionate fan bases. And that holds true with this Rangers sweater. Many fans have taken to social media to express their excitement about the new threads, others not so much.

The Islanders also revealed their curious-looking jersey for the Stadium Series. So did the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers, who will play at MetLife on Feb. 17.
