Rangers last opponent now has two COVID-19 infected players
In the confusion and chaos since the pandemic took hold in the United States and the world, trivial things like who the Rangers last played are forgotten. Now that another NHL player has tested positive for COVID-19, the 2nd with the Avalanche, it seems significant.
Colorado Caution
The Rangers played the Avalanche on March 11th with the NHL pause announced soon after. Now two Avs players from that game have tested positive and the Rangers owner James Dolan has as well. Of course, Dolan was not with the team at the time.
As of now, there is no mandatory testing for both teams. However, it is becoming a growing concern and one that may have the Rangers rethink their stance. Obviously one of the conditions for testing is if you are known to have been in contact with someone with COVID-19. Well now the Rangers would qualify indeed.
