- Tonight’s game is the second of two meetings between the Rangers and Avalanche, and the only meeting between the two teams at Colorado. The Rangers have posted a 1-0-0 record (1-0-0 at home; 0-0-0 on the road), following their 5-3 win on Jan. 7 at MSG. Artemi Panarin (one goal, two assists) and Jesper Fast (three assists) each recorded three points and a plus-three rating in the game. Igor Shesterkin made 29 saves to earn his first career NHL win while making his NHL debut in the contest.
