The Rangers will be going with the same lineup in Philadelphia they had on Monday versus the Sabres. Igor Shesterkin will get his first start since his injury on March 5.

Rangers assistants cleared from COVID protocol

Both Jacques Martin and Greg Brown have been cleared to join the team in Philadelphia. It is undetermined at this time if that means they will be added to the bench with the current staff or replace Gord Murphy and Chris Drury as Kris Knoblauch’s assistants. More details to follow when Knoblauch addresses the media at 5:30 PM.

Canadian Government reduces quarantine in time for NHL Trade Deadline

News is breaking from CBC reporter, David Cochrane that the Canadian Government has approved a 7 day quarantine with extra testing for NHL players traded from U.S. based teams. This reduction from 14 days was a major sticking point for Canadian General Managers. The effort was spearheaded by Kyle Dubas of the Toronto Maple Leafs to have it reduced.
