The Forever Blueshirts Radio podcast is coming back tomorrow with a special guest. Nick Kypreos, a member of the 1994 Stanley Cup Champion Rangers will join me to discuss his new book Undrafted.

Nick Kypreos who played with the New York Rangers has a brand new book that details his life. From growing up in Toronto, to making it to the NHL, and transitioning into one of the game’s top analysts after a career ending concussion, Undrafted is a great read.

Tomorrow’s episode will dive into all that, as well as his new show Real Kyper at Noon, and his start up company Little Buddha. I’m excited and Nick is pumped about it too Blueshirts Faithful.

Rangers fans…learn the name Tarmo Reunanen

Tarmo Reunanen is a 2016 Rangers draft pick that is going to make a serious push to join the team. The 22 year-old left defenseman is playing top pair minutes in Finland’s top league and is looking like an NHL ready player.

NHL Update

The latest on the stalemate between the NHL and NHLPA has it that both sides have yet to talk since the request to renegotiate the CBA. Both sides have until next week to come to terms and save an early January start date for the 2020-21 season.

The two leaders had had nearly daily dialogue most of the off-season, so this communication stalemate is noteworthy for that reason. But again, I think they will see a way through this eventually.
