Rangers wrap it all up by signing Brendan Lemieux for two years
The New York Rangers and Brendan Lemieux came to terms today avoiding arbitration as expected. According to CapFrfiendly, the deal is for two years with an AAV of $1.55 million.
The importance of Brendan Lemieux

The 24 year-old forward is precisely what the Rangers need which was signaled in this last draft. After getting bounced by Carolina in three games, the Rangers were simply too easy to play against. That prompted them to draft two mean players in Braden Schneider and Will Cuylle.
Lemieux was suspended at the pause and it caused him to miss two of the three games. The Rangers were much tougher in game three for two periods thanks to Lemieux’s rough and tumble play but they still fell.
Rangers sign Strome
Rangers also signed Ryan Strome yesterday and this should wrap up the Rangers off season.
