Report: Brendan Lemieux seeking $2 million from the Rangers
Brendan Lemieux and the Rangers have a hearing set for November 6th and now we know the asks. The Blueshirts have countered with $1.075M while Lemieux’s camp is seeking $2 million.
Rangers and Lemieux likely to settle
The hold up here is primarily the situation with Ryan Strome. With a gap at over $2 million between the two parties this has the potential to make it to arbitration tomorrow.
When it is all said and done the Rangers and Lemieux are likely to meet in in the middle. My expectation is that they agree to a one or two year deals at around $1.5 million.
