NHL players propose plan to restart in July and play for Cup in September

Yes, you read that headline right. According to Frank Seravalli of TSN, some of the league’s top players are proposing to the NHL to restart the regular season, or a reduced number of games in July. Some of those rumored players are Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid, to name a few. No matter what you think of the proposal, the fact the players are engaged and involved in the process aside from NHL executives is extremely promising.
