Panarin and his agent are turning down meetings after visit to New York

George Richards of the Athletic is reporting that Artemi Panarin and his agent, Paul Theofanous are turning down meetings after visiting in New York. That would leave one to believe that Panarin has made a decision between the Florida Panthers or one of the New York area teams.

Aside from the crass comment from Dale Tallon, which I am sure both John Davidson and Jeff Gorton are laughing at, the article states that both Sergei Bobrovsky and Artemi Panarin are turning down meetings with other teams.

So are the rumors true that the Rangers and Panarin had a very good conversation? Is it South Beach with his buddy Bob? The bottom line is that ignoring over a year of reports that Panarin wants to play for the Rangers and money isn’t everything for him would be wrong.
