Pregame notes for tonight’s Rangers – Penguins game:
- Game time: 7PM EST; Penguins currently listed as the favorite to win at -150. Rangers meanwhile are +130.
- Rangers are 7-2-1 over last 10 games, riding a 3 game win-streak. The team is 14-14-3 on the road this year.
- Penguins are 5-4-1 over last 10 games after losing Tuesday to the Caps. The team is 19-9-4 at home.
- Rangers are 7th and 10th in Goals-For and Goals-Against, respectively. Meanwhile, the Pens are 12th and 13th in those categories.
- The two teams met just once this season, with the Rangers winning by 3 on the back of a Lundqvist shutout. Rangers were outshot 34-22, and neither team scored on any special teams chances.
