President to meet with NHL and leaders of major sports leagues

Today the President of the United States Donald Trump will be on a conference call with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman as well as the leaders of all major sports leagues.

Scheduled participants on call with Trump:

NBA – Adam Silver
WNBA – Cathy Engelbert
MLB – Rob Manfred
NFL – Roger Goodell
NHL – Gary Bettman
PGA Tour – Jay Monahan
UFC – Dana White
WWE – Vince McMahon
NASCAR – John Middlebrook or Jim France.
MLS – Don Garber.

Moving Forward

Early word is that the call will be a briefing as to what the leagues are planning with regards to play resumption. There could also be an aspect of what kind of support the Federal Government could provide as well as an update to the pandemic. The responses from each league afterwards is what we should all look for this afternoon.
