The Rangers have wrapped up signing their big 4 RFA’s by locking in Kevin Hayes to a 2 year bridge deal that comes with a 2.6M cap hit.
Confirmed:
Kevin Hayes (#NYR)

2017: $2.6M salaryhttps://t.co/BT0QFePuLb— General Fanager (@generalfanager) July 22, 2016
Per General Fanager they have almost 3.5m is space left:
With Kreider and Hayes signed, #NYR have est. $3.425M in cap space with roster of 13F/8D/2G.https://t.co/dM38Zuxr87

The Rangers will almost certainly try and make an additional move before the season starts. If they chose to exercise any buyouts that cap space could increase.
As many have pointed out (thank you), #NYR buyout window starts Monday for 48 hours per CBA Exhibit 15. #WeBlewIt pic.twitter.com/CIKL9gDmTr
