Beleskey had a solid outing in his last two appearances, where he netted a goal and a fight as he tried to make his case for being on the Rangers opening night roster. Obviously, this injury will keep him from being on the ice for David Quinn’s Blueshirts on October 4th, but perhaps he showed the new coaching staff enough to warrant a spot in the lineup when he returns.
