Rangers have their game faces on as they prep for game 3 (NYR at TB 8PM)
“Embarrassing” was the word uttered by Rangers captain, Ryan McDonagh after a 6-2 loss at home. Today at practice the Rangers appeared to have their game faces on early as they prepare for Game 3 of the ECF.

After practice this morning the Rangers spoke with confidence heading into tonight’s contest.

Alain Vigneault said last night that he felt his team would respond the right way, he reiterated that today.

The Rangers will look to stay disciplined and stick to their game. Game Two’s score wasn’t indicative of just how many opportunities the Rangers had or that it was a 3-2 game heading into the third period.
It also doesn’t show that a missed trip late in the second period on Dominic Moore and an early trip call on Derek Stepan in the third really changed the outlook of that game. Imagine a 3-3 game going into the third period? Could’ve been a different outcome.
Still, the Rangers flirted with disaster that entire game and got burned. I expect the Tampa Bay Lightning to be hit hard tonight by a possessed Rangers team on a mission. I believe this will be the Rangers most dominant performance of the entire playoffs to date.
At 8PM they will turn their talk into actions and my belief into prophecy.
