Rangers Looking to Stack the Deck, MSL joins Nash & Stepan

The buzz at practice today was Martin St. Louis being paired with Derek Stepan and Rick Nash. The little offensive dynamo is mired in a goal scoring slump. Simply put, he has none since joining the Blueshirts on March 5th!

Personally, I love the idea of stacking the deck with Nash and St. Louis against a Flyers team with suspect defense. Unfortunately, this move takes place because Chris Kreider will miss at least 5 games with a hand injury. Most news was vague and team doctors are still evaluating the injury.

In comes JT Miller, who has been red-hot in Hartford with 11 points in his last nine games. He will find himself on a line with Brassard and Zuccarello, unless AV wants to reunite Pouliot with them. Then Miller will play with veteran pivot Brad Richards and speedy Carl Hagelin.
