Rangers Roundup: David Quinn hates losing, Nils Lundkvist special, and more
In case you missed it, I spoke with former BU defenseman Colby Cohen who played for David Quinn. Colby who now works at ESPN and NBCPhilly had glowing things to say about his old coach in the latest Forever Blueshirts podcast.
“David Quinn hates losing more than he likes winning”
Colby recalled a time after he had left college and came back for a game in Boston to visit. Afterwards he spent some time with his old boss who was beside himself trying to figure out how to get his team to be successful.
“His guard is down and he’s beside himself…the thing about Quinnie is he hates losing more than he likes winning,” Colby said. “I know it sounds cliche but there is a difference…he hates losing more than he likes winning.”
