Rangers Roundup: No contract talks for Jesper Fast, trading Brady Skjei and Kreider said what?

The latest news and buzz around the Rangers as the trade deadline looms.

Jesper Fast

While Chris Kreider has had discussions on a new deal, Jesper Fast to date has not. Or at least none that either side is willing to admit to since there’s been no response from KO Sports or the Rangers on the matter. Fast who is 28 years old has 24 points in 54 games this season may be set on testing the UFA market, meaning a deal at the deadline is imminent. Nashville may be the most interested team at the moment.

Brady Skjei available?

Rick Carpiniello of the Athletic recently noted that Skjei could possibly be moved at the deadline. I stated way back in January that this was indeed being explored.

Kreider said what?

Apparently, Chris Kreider was a little more adamant telling Pavel Buchnevich to be quiet last night.

Happy Birthday Kakko (kind of)
