Sounds like Dallas is targeting Panarin but if that were to fall through a less expensive option would be Zuccarello. The Stars hold a mid 1st round pick at this time so you can likely rule it out in a deal.
Teams In On Hayes
Friedman mentioned two teams that are looking at Kevin Hayes with great interest. Of course, it is a holding pattern until the fate of Matt Duchene is determined.
9. If the Blue Jackets don’t get Duchene, the obvious focus is Kevin Hayes. They have lots of history with the Rangers, too.
