Just one day after another uninspiring performance that left Rangertown in a panic, The New York Rangers look to finish up their road trip with a win tonight in Winnipeg. Unlike the last meeting in December, The King will take his throne this time around, as he is expected to start, and hopefully help right the ship.

Sense of Urgency:

Since the Olympic break, the Rangers are just 3-4-1. Columbus is now tied with the Rangers in points, The Flyers are one point behind and for many of past eight games, the Rangers have just been going through the motions.

In last night’s game, the Rangers had opportunities to at least get one point, but failed to cash in on their chances. Alain Vingeault has started to juggle some lines trying to create a spark, look for more of the same tonight.

Failure to Launch

The Jets come limping into tonight’s game losers of five straight, and are looking to rebound after back to back heart breaking losses.

Dispite the underachieving record, The Jets have talent in all the right places and are a very dangerous team. Bryan Little, Blake Wheeler and Andrew Ladd are proving to be a tough top line to play against as they can get it done in all facets of the game.

FullTilt Forecast

The Rangers never seem to make it easy on themselves, and tonight will be another example of that. Although I do believe they will pull out the W, bit it will be a lot closer then the score indicates. Rangers win 4-2.
