Rangers vs Sens Afterthoughts and will they set a franchise record of 9 straight wins against Toronto?

Screen Shot 2015-11-15 at 10.16.13 AMHometown boy Dan Boyle picked up the puck and swooped in from the left side to steal the show and secure the win in the shootout. It was a nice moment for the 39 year old defenseman (whom by the way has hands) in his native Ontario. He did pick up the Broadway Hat but that honor should’ve gone to Chris Kreider.

Answering the Call

CK20 picked up the team’s only goal on the PP by parking that big body in front of Craig Anderson and getting a nifty deflection on the point shot for the goal. However, his most important moment came in the 2nd period when he reacted to a cheap high hit to his center, Derek Stepan.

Ottawa’s Zack Smith was taught a lesson many others have learned…Chris Kreider is a bear on ice. He not only punched Smith’s face silly, but he also tossed him like a rag doll too. It’s not something we want Kreider to do a lot of because a broken hand makes no sense in the long run…but it was appreciated.

Henrik Lundqvist is UNREAL!

The King continues to amaze as he makes brilliant saves look routine this season. If not for the Rangers being overly aggressive on the PK, Henrik would likely have gotten his second shutout of the year.

Stepan made a pass behind Ryan McDonagh who fell turning back to it. Rick Nash was caught up ice and (of corsi) Dan Girardi was the lone man back on a 3-1 that resulted in an Erik Karlsson PPG. More fodder for the Girardi haters.

Going for the record!

Tonight the Rangers will beat the Maple Leafs for their 9th consecutive win! There, I said it! Antti Raanta will get the nod and Rick Nash will score again this season. Yes, #61 leads the way. Enjoy.
