Report: Kravtsov to return to KHL

A report in Championat.com states that Traktor expects Vitali Kravtsov to return to the KHL as early as next weekend.

“We are counting on Kravtsov and are waiting for him. We really hope that he will return. If possible, I will be glad. I think the information will appear tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. We really want him to help Tractor. We broke up well with Kravtsov. He has acted decently towards Tractor, ”Vidgof said on the air of the Granada Press channel on YouTube.

We stated weeks ago that even though the Rangers weren’t completely forthcoming, that Kravtsov indeed was considering it.

10/7 we wrote about Kravtsov out clause. In addition we were aware there was some discussion between Kravtsov and his agent and the #NYR were likely aware as well. Now if he does opt to trigger it remains to be seen. We are still working on it. Remember they agreed to this clause

If you’ve been following our reporting, we noted that he and his agent have discussed this possibility and now it will be official.

Rangers did/do not want to make this an adversarial relationship. Worked with Kravtsov's agent…Would be wildly counterproductive to attempt to hold him hostage in Hartford.

Kravtsov will return to the Rangers organization at the conclusion of the KHL season. Depending on playoffs, that could be anywhere in March or April.
