Rangers trying to trade into second round

Pierre Dorian has stated that he does not expect to make all four of his second round picks and could be a logical trade partner. Detroit, Montreal, and Nashville are the others with multiple picks in round two.

The Rangers have a number of pieces they could move as well as 7 other picks starting in round three to add. There is also the possibility that Jeff Gorton who has not yet qualified Ryan Strome could trade his rights with additional picks, including a conditional in 2021 to move up.
