The Tilted Ice Podcast: North of Penn Episode 9

We’d like to start off this post by thanking all of our loyal listeners. It’s because of you and the tremendous amount of listeners and feedback we’ve received that we’ve been able to grow this podcast like we have. For those of you who follow Full Tilt, you may be asking yourself “What’s Forever Blueshirts? Why’s the ice tilted? Where am I going, Around the League then North of Penn?” Well here’s your answer.

As you’ll read about further in the future, Full Tilt has decided it’s time to freshen up a bit and re-brand. Anthony will fill you in with full details soon, but rest assured only good things are to come. Full Tilt will become Forever Blueshirts. The Full Tilt Podcast will pay homage to the original name and be called The Tilted Ice Podcast (we know, you love the name. So do we.) As a result of high demand for the podcast, we recently previewed an Around The League Podcast to some really impressive reviews, the pilot episode of Around The League will be released within the day and we can’t wait to hear what you all think of it. As the name says, we’ll use Around The League to talk all things NHL, not just the New York Rangers. Call it an expansion of sorts. As a result of the rebrand, the New York Rangers specific podcast will be called Tilted Ice: North of Penn (we hope you know why.) Lastly, our interview segment podcast will retain its name, Center Ice.

Without further ado here is the newest episode of The Tilted Ice: North of Penn Podcast (yeah, the New York Ranger one). In this episode, Russ and Kappy discuss the recent winning streak for the Rangers and what it means. They talk about the recent emergence of Pavel Buchnevich and the hot play of JT Miller and Mika Zibanejad. They dive deep into the power play as well as Alain Vigneault’s current resurgence and attempt to explain some of the moves he’s made lately including Brendan Smith, Nick Holden, and Steve Kampfer. They finish it off with a New York Rangers Alternate Reality, as some fans found out the Rangers were in the mix for the draft rights to Clayton Keller. What would that have meant for them and ….drumroll…. who were the Rangers going to give up to get that highly coveted pick.

As always we hope you enjoy this latest and greatest episode of Tilted Ice: North of Penn.
