TSN lists Rick Nash #8 on their top 20 list of players likely to be moved

TSN Top 20 likely players to be moved.

TSN published their list of players that will likely be moved this summer. On that list at #8 is the Rangers’ big gun, Rick Nash.

If you recall, SPORTSNET’s Elliotte Friedman claimed that he was hearing some big names that might be available this summer and this list certainly backs that up. I mean, P.K. Subban? As it turns out, his no trade clause kicks in July 1st so that may incline the Canadiens to move him.

As far as targets on this list that the Rangers might go after, keep your eyes and ears open on these names.

Sami Vatanen, who was rumored to be going to the Rangers for Dan Girardi before #5 signed his contract. Also Nail Yakupov, whom Glen Sather has long lusted after and could help Pavel Buchnevich transition to North America.

Some long shots on that list could be Jordan Eberle and Kevin Shattenkirk. Once that Cup is hoisted overhead next week, the trade season will be officially open and it looks to be a wild one.
