Wolf Pack’s Top Plays of the 2019-2020 Season
The 2019-2020 season in Hartford had plenty of great plays throughout the season. From incredible goals to spectacular saves, the Wolf Pack had many exciting moments. Let’s breakdown those great plays from Vinni Lettieri, to Vitali Kravtsov, to Igor Shesterkin. There was plenty to get you out of your seat.
Lettieri and Lindgren
Ryan Lindgren’s coast to coast goal in the second game of the season was an early candidate for the goal of the year in Hartford. He made the sequence look easy.
Nothing like an overtime winner! Filip Chytil pulls off an absolutely sick move against a Devils defender, then feeds it to Phil Di Giuseppe to bury the game winner. Chytil did all the work to give the Pack a win on the road.
Andersson and Shesterkin
Vitali Kravtsov adds an insurance market late in the game against the Bruins in the 3rd. This was his first tally in North America and in the AHL. He was at the right place at the right time with the deflection.
The first of two goals in 10 seconds by Hartford. The first tally starts off with O’Regan. Right off the draw and immediately into the offensive zone, Matt Beleskey finishes the cross crease pass to extend the Pack’s lead. Darren Raddysh takes the puck in, then gives Beleskey a perfect pass.
Talk about one of the big goals of the year by Vinni Lettieri. This was the most craziest game of the season as the Wolf Pack came back from a 5-0 deficit to tie the game at 5 with under a minute remaining in the 3rd. Unfortunately, Hartford as unable to pull off the upset as the group lost in overtime.
Ronning and Rykov
Yegor Rykov puts Hartford on the board and tie the game at one. This was his first goal in North America and in the AHL. Nieves feeds Rykov through a backhand, then Rykov buries.
Igor Shesterkin showed he can do more than goaltending. The young prospect starts off a spectacular play with his long pass. Di Giuseppe feeds Nieves, then Beleskey buries with a great goal. That was a play.
