Kaapo Kakko on NHL COVID List

There’s always a bit of concern when Kaapo Kakko turns up on the NHL’s COVID Protocol List due to being a diabetic. Last time his stint was brief as it was likely a false positive test. Kakko missed one game. Hopefully he won’t miss much time and gets healthy quick.

K’Andre Miller is back in the lineup and that means Jack Johnson is out. Julien Gauthier is back in for Kakko and Alexis Lafreniere will play first line RW today. He’s playing on a new top line with Mika Zibanejad and Artemi Panarin.
