Finally, we have word on Mats Zuccarello as more and more vicious and wild rumors continue to swirl on the internet. VG Sporten out of Norway spoke with Zuccarello’s manager Kevin Skabo.

[su_quote cite=”VG” url=””]Mats got a real blow, a sharp concussion. Now everything is under control, but we do not know when he’s back.[/su_quote]

Mats has been out of action since Game 5 of the Rangers 1st round series against Pittsburgh. According to Skabo, Zuccarello really got his bell rung from the Ryan McDonagh slapshot.

[su_quote cite=”VG” url=””]When you get a puck in his temple, calling it the church bells, to speak. He is on the mend and in light training, but like all other damages must be very careful and make sure that you take one step at a time, says Skabo.[/su_quote]

Skabo also added that the Rangers have not said anything since it will be doctors that will make the call when he can return.

[su_quote cite=”VG” url=””]We’ll see when the doctors think he is healthy enough. Mats has been long in peace now, but has begun to be allowed to train small and quiet. He’s on the bike and stuff like that, says Skabo.[/su_quote]

So there you have it. Now, when you see or hear someone else spread rumors on Zuccarello’s health…point them here.
