John Davidson announces Chris Kreider deal, Buchnevich and Shesterkin involved in a car accident

John Davidson held a press conference today to announce that the Rangers and Chris Kreider have come to terms. The two sides worked diligently for weeks to get this done.

Done Deal

Kreider and the Rangers agree to a 7 year deal. More details to come out on that, but this is going to signal the end of the rebuild in my estimation. The AAV is expected to be 6.5M.

Shesterkin and Buchnevich Injured

Igor Shesterkin and Pavel Buchnevich were involved in a car accident last night at 8:30PM. Buchnevich was injured and day to day but Shesterkin suffered a rib injury and will be reassessed. This injury will likely pull Georgiev off the table.
