Quick, 37, is 375-277-84 with a GAA of 2.47 and .911 save percentage for his brilliant career. He also backstopped two Stanley Cup runs with the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and 2014. Rangers fans that second Cup because it came at the expense of their beloved Blueshirts and Henrik Lundqvist. Quick was also a member of the Vegas Golden Knights championship squad this summer, but did not play in the playoffs.

The clutch goalie hails from Connecticut and grew up idolizing 1994 Rangers Stanley Cup winner Mike Richter.

Quick will replace Jaroslav Halak, who will hit the free agent market after a one-year deal with the Blueshirts for $1.5 million. It will be interesting to see what he signs for.
