Kakko misses practices after taking shot off the ankle last night
Rangers phenom prospect Kaapo Kakko took a shot off the ankle last night that had him limping after the game. Kakko was out of practice and listed as a maintenance day by the team.

Kakko had a rough night that goes well beyond the ankle shot. He posted a -3 rating and continued to struggle to generate any significant offense. The 18 year old hasn’t scored a point in 4 games and the last time he scored a goal was on 11/2 against Pittsburgh. With his goalless streak now at 16, it may not be the worst thing if the Rangers gave him a game off.
